Lifestyle Images was founded in 2001 by Sydney photographer, Alexandra Grimshaw.
Prior to that, Alex ran a successful photographic production company in Sydney, NSW, which provided photographic services to a diverse range of clients and industries including: weddings; fashion; commercial projects and portraiture.
Alex’s fine art background is evident in the quality of her photography. Her use of composition and light give her images a creative edge but it is her ability to connect with people that helps her portray real honesty.

I love capturing images that reflect life. I chose Lifestyle Images for my name for this reason. Photography preserves moments; snippets of time, held in an image, so you can share your memories and revisit your history.
Every one of my pictures is crafted by subtly tweaking contrast, colour and tone, this crucial phase of post-production is often overlooked and is as important as capturing the image itself. I dedicate many hours to this post production process, so that every image I create has the ‘Lifestyle Images’ style.

I’ll photograph your wedding discreetly, letting you do what you should do on your wedding day – have a great time! I individually edit and assess your images while you are away on your honeymoon. Time and care are given to post-production which results in stunning images that will transport you back to your special day.

My approach is spontaneous. I love capturing important moments in time like family gatherings, maternity, newborn, children and lifestyle and creative and fresh corporate portraits.
I love photographing people and capturing life moments which are natural and uncontrived. Photographic sessions can take place in your home or office or at an agreed other location.
